- Residence
- The applicant must be a domicile of Maharashtra.
- Family Income Limit
- Annual family income should be ₹ 8,00,000 or less.
- Category
- Mainly for Economically Backward Class (EBC) / Economically Weaker Section (EWS) / General Category students admitted through the general quota.
- Admission in Eligible Course
- Student must be admitted to professional or non-professional courses in approved colleges (government, aided, or unaided institutions).
- Mode of Study
- Only regular full-time courses are eligible.
- Distance learning or part-time courses are not eligible.
- Other Conditions
- The student should not receive another scholarship for the same course.
- Usually only the first two children of a family can apply.
