The Mentor Mentee Committee is established in the college to create a supportive environment where experienced faculty members (mentors) guide and assist a group of students (mentees). This system helps in monitoring students’ academic progress, solving their problems, and providing career guidance.

Under this system, each teacher is assigned a small group of students. The mentor regularly interacts with the mentees to discuss academic performance, attendance, behaviour, and any personal or educational difficulties. The mentor also motivates students to participate in curricular and extracurricular activities.

The Mentor–Mentee Committee in colleges and universities usually does not come from a single specific law, but it is supported by guidelines and quality requirements issued by higher-education regulatory bodies such as the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accreditation bodies like the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

In order to understand the problems of the college students and solve them, a total of 335 students of the college have been adopted by twelve professors in proportion to that number. Under this scheme, the personal problems of the students have been identified and solved. Students have been guided regarding student attendance, student scholarships, and problems related to student exams. Meetings have been held from time to time in this regard.
